Source data was downloaded from the Luquillo Experimental Forest GIS database website, and pocessed in ArcGIS 8.3.Source data for roads, hypsography, hydrography and political boundaries originated from USGS DLG's, and attributes correspond to USGS National Mapping Program Standards. Geology was obtained for this project by special permission from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), International Institute of Tropical Forestry (IITF). Specific metadata for each dataset is contained in the .xml file which is attached to that dataset.
Puerto Rico Aerial Photo Mosaics and Benthic Habitats of Puerto Rico are available for free download from The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
